ACID THRU-AXLE M12*1.0 142-148 MM for bike trailers

Dear CUBE Customer,

We wish to advise you that for safety reasons the ACID THRU-AXLE M12*1.0 142-148 MM must not be used in combination with bike trailers until further notice. Despite passing all tests for compliance with the applicable standards, the trailer hitch can unfasten from the thru-axle when cycling with the child trailer on uneven surfaces and lead to accidents and injury.

We apologise for the inconvenience caused and will be in touch with an update and further steps as soon as possible. The use of thru-axles from other manufacturers is not excluded; however, we can make no guarantee nor can we assume liability for their use in combination with our trailers.

We ask for your understanding that this issue can only be resolved via your CUBE dealer. We regret that we cannot handle enquiries directly.
