Precautionary exchange Stereo Hybrid 140/160 HPC Action Team/SLT 2021

Dear CUBE customer,

We would like to inform you about a precautionary screw replacement that affects the safety of our bikes.

It relates to the Stereo Hybrid 140 and 160 HPC ACTIONTEAM and SLT models from model year 2021 with part numbers 436252, 436257, 436302, 436312, 437252, 437257, 4373024 and 37312.

In some instances, damage may be caused to the internally routed hydraulic brake lines running behind the left and right cable guide covers (Figure 1) as well as to the shift outer casing.

You can recognize already exchanged screws by the four identical, countersunk Torx T10 screw heads (Figure 3) on both sides (Figure 1), instead of the previously used Phillips head screws (Figure 4 right) and the Torx T10 Allen-key screws (Figure 4 left).

Please contact your CUBE dealer to have the screws replaced. We can only replace the screws through CUBE dealers.
