For the second time, Gusti Wildhaber from the CUBE Actionteam competed in the Stone King Rally, one of the toughest enduro races in the south-western Alps of Europe. In 6 days, the riders had to ride 262 km, 24 stages, 8014 vertical metres up and 20297 vertical metres down. On extremely demanding terrain, with a mix of blocked or loose limestone trails, Wildhaber was able to finish the race in 2nd place overall.

"I am overjoyed to be on the podium at the finish, because after 3 days of stomach problems, this was not a matter of course at all! The strong international competition did not make it easy for me and I had to ride at the limit for 6 days! The crash on the last stage was unfortunate and in difficult light conditions, I then finished the stage with an open arm. I only realised the whole "drama" at the finish, so I'm even happier that I was able to secure 2nd place."
