The Acid Mud Blocker is awarded as purchase tip in the latest test “The 8 best mud guards” of Mountainbike magazine (01/2022) before other brands such as Crud, Mudhugger, XLC, SKS, Topeak, Zefal and Hebiee.

Verdict:

"The Acid-branded mudguard set from CUBE is the lightest in our test. It attaches via cable ties, with the front mudguard also available with a screw plate for compatible forks. The cable-tie installation is done in a flash and offers a perfect hold. For even better protection, the front mudguard could extend over the front wheel a touch more to stop rogue mud from flying up into our tester’s face. By contrast, the long rear mudguard works brilliantly."
