The Stereo Hybrid 140 HPC SL 750 wins the test category "Mountain goats – six e-bikes from 4,600 euros" in the latest issue of mountainbike (04/2022) before other brands like Bulls, Conway, Focus, Giant and Stevens.

Verdict:
"CUBE also pulls no punches in the e-segment when it comes to value for money – at least, not among the dealer brands. Not only does the Stereo Hybrid boast a carbon-fibre front triangle, it also comes fully equipped with the new Bosch smart system – including a 750 Wh battery – offering full drive unit, battery and remote connectivity. The spec is equally pleasing. Once in the saddle, the Hybrid 140's beguiling riding position courtesy of a shorter head tube and long top tube transfers more power to the front wheel for maximum efficiency on the climbs. And on the trails? The long reach delivers supreme stability complemented by the aforementioned components (brakes, tyres). The 140 mm rear suspension works comfortably, although it does lack a little mid-stroke support when tackling the tough stuff. And the light and fluffy Fox 34 fork doesn't quite live up to the stiffness of the Fox 36 models."
