Double victory for Brüchle & Wildhaber at Swiss Enduro Series Aletsch

The 2nd Swiss Enduro Series in Aletsch ended yesterday with a double win for the CUBE Actionteam in a fantastic scenery. Veronika Brüchle and Gusti Wildhaber fought their way to victory in the extremely hot temperatures in the glacier region of Aletsch/Switzerland on 4 high-alpine and exhausting stages. The heat and dryness turned the entire track into a dusty trail and the last stage alone was a real challenge with more than 650 m of difference in altitude and a race time of 9 minutes.

"I am overjoyed to have won here and can therefore put myself at the top of the series. Bike and equipment worked great and I am already looking forward to the 3rd race of the series next week!", Gusti Wildhaber after his victory.

Veronika Brüchle added: "The very physical stages and the high alpine terrain suit me very well. Thanks to the team in the background who made the success possible!"

With the two first places and valuable points from the U15 category by CUBE Action rookie Maxi Wachsmann, the team secured second place in the team classification.
